The 70-meter rock formation, called the Needle, is one of the greatest attractions of the white, chalk cliffs. Tourists are also attracted by three monumental rock gates. The Needle appears in a story by Maurice Leblanc, the main character of which is Arsène Lupine - the famous gentleman burglar.
