Замок Шатонеф-дю-Пап

Monumental ruins of a former papal castle in southern France. The 14th century fortress rises above the town on a hill. Its slopes are covered with vineyards that have been cultivated here for 800 years. Some of the outer walls and a fragment of the defensive tower have been preserved from the fortress.
