Six-Fours-les-Plages is a resort town with a small port and diverse beaches, from developed and crowded with tourists to hidden in coves, where you can relax away from the crowds.
Located on the Cote d'Azur, the town has a small center around a medieval church and the pre-Romanesque chapel of Notre Dame de Pepiole. Another chapel of the Mother of God stands on a hill above the sea, from which there is a beautiful view of the coast.
The main attraction of Six-Fours-les-Plages are the beaches here. The coast here is full of small coves and peninsulas, thanks to which the beaches are divided into smaller sections. In addition to the well-developed, sandy, there are also small beaches in coves in the vicinity. Most of such places can be found on the Gaou Peninsula. The second of the local peninsulas, Embiez, is the seat of the oceanographic center.
