Додекалиттен

The art installation consists of 12 stone pillars standing in a circle with a diameter of 40 m above the coast of the Småland Sea. Each of the pillars is 7 to 9 meters high, with the top 2 meters representing carved heads. A 12-channel sound system is installed under the ring, thanks to which electro-acoustic music is played every day at a specific time.

The installation was designed by composer Gunner Møller Pedersen and sculptor Thomas Kadziola. In 2017, composer Wayne Siegel also joined the work on the project.
