Parque Natural y Casa Apladalen

The Apladalen Nature and History Park is the main attraction in the town of Värnamo. In the lush green park there are traditional houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. Among them is a historic rectory, which now functions as a museum of local history. A historic herb garden is adjacent to it.

Among the picturesque park paths there is also a farm with enclosures for goats, sheep, rabbits and poultry. You can approach them and stroke them, so it is a good place, especially for families with children. The largest playground in the city is adjacent to the farm.

Apladalen also has a restaurant and a café with outdoor tables. In summer you can also meet local artisans and artists exhibiting and selling handicrafts.
