Friends Arena is Sweden's national stadium. The matches of the national football team and the AIK Solna club are held there. The facility can accommodate 50,000 fans. Large concerts and important cultural events are also organized here, incl. final of Melodifestivalen (song contest).
The stadium is equipped with a retractable roof, thanks to which sports games and entertainment events can also be organized in the winter season. The unusual facade of the building attracts attention, which shimmers with a million colors during important events. Huge LED screens have been hung under the roof for fans, on which replays of the most important actions are displayed during matches.
The biggest Swedish music stars performed at the concert organized for the opening of the stadium in 2012, incl. Roxette, Loreen and Icona Pop.
