Hökeriet is Sweden's oldest grocery store, located in a historic building erected at the beginning of the 19th century. You can buy traditional Swedish snacks and sweets here - colorful lollipops and candies, jams, honey and juices. The shop also offers toys for children.
On store shelves, packages of products traded at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries were placed. There are coffee cans and canned fish, boxes of matches, tobacco and candles, as well as bottles of beer, wine, ink and mouthwash.
There is also a cozy, old-fashioned cafe where you can enjoy waffles with whipped cream and homemade jam. The house at 9 Sankt Annegatan was built in 1815. It owes its present shape to a renovation at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the owners of the store at that time were Elisabeth and Jöns Larsson.
