The 19th-century park and garden complex is one of the most interesting areas of this type in Europe. Particularly noteworthy is the 1878 Victorian Palm House, known as the "glass palace". Currently, it has an area of 1000 m2, divided into a proper palm house, an area of tropical, Mediterranean and aquatic plants.
