Mogoșoaia Palace is approximately 10 km from Bucharest. It was built at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries in the Brâncovenesc style, also known as the Romanian Renaissance. The complex includes a residence, a courtyard with a watchtower, greenhouses and the Bibescu family tomb. Today, the palace houses the Brâncovenească Art Museum.
The interior of the palace has been restored. On the first floor there are apartments of the princely family. They can be accessed directly from the courtyard via an external staircase. There are servants' rooms on the ground floor. The ornate facade of the building attracts attention, especially the loggia inspired by the Venetian style.
In the picturesque palace garden, historic greenhouses are worth visiting. They come from the end of the 19th century and were built according to the design of French architects. Currently, colorful flowers are grown there. Art workshops for children are also held here regularly.
