PODIVÍN atracciones turísticas

+1 atracción

Podivín is a village surrounded by forests and green areas, where you can successfully practice active tourism. It has also been known for viticulture since the Middle Ages, and in the past, the local cellars used to store large stocks of Moravian wines.

Today's Podivín is a bit out of the way from the main tourist traffic, but the area is still grapevine and risling vlassky wine production. There are numerous hiking and biking trails among the fields and forests.

The biggest attraction of Podivín and its surroundings is John's Castle. It is a nineteenth-century, romantic hunting castle, which, in the intention of the creators, was to reproduce a medieval stronghold. It houses hunting exhibitions, and the surrounding landscape park is a good place for walks and picnics.
