Boseň is a village in the picturesque surroundings of the Bohemian Paradise. These are areas characterized by hilly terrain and numerous rock outcrops. There are many hiking trails in the area and an educational path leading to the battlefield from 1866.

Boseň, a small town, is a town with a history dating back to the 11th century. The ruins of the Valečov castle, built in the 14th century by the followers of Jan Hus, have been preserved here. The castle is partly stone and partly carved in the rock on which it stands. A trail from the village leads to it.

Another attraction of Boseň is the old, mostly wooden buildings and the Baroque church of St. Wenceslas.

In 1866, a large battle between the Prussian and Austrian armies took place near the town. The educational trail Mimon-Boseň leads through the surrounding areas. In addition to the boards with information about the history of the conflict, you can find many picturesque places, such as rock outcrops and viewpoints.
