Extensive remains of a building from the 19th century, used in the past as the seat of the families of Strachwitz, Gaschin and Donnersmarck. The ruins are located in a large park complex, on a private property.
The palace was built on the initiative of Joachim Strachwitz in 1826, on the site of an old wooden manor. The new structure has undergone numerous reconstructions, as a result of which it has an eclectic style. In its individual elements one can see neo-Renaissance, neo-baroque and Art Nouveau accents.
Although the palace survived intact until the seventies of the twentieth century, after that time it was abandoned and gradually deteriorated. In 1988 it was privately owned and changed owners several times. Despite the first renovation and security works, the palace has not been restored to its splendor.
