Lom is a small tourist town in the Jotunheimen National Park. The routes to Norway's highest mountain, Galdhøpiggen, start here, and there is also a summer ski resort in the area.

In summer, Lom is a place where people who want to go to Norway's highest peak, Galdhøpiggen, at 2469 m above sea level. Exits are guided because the dome is covered with a snow cap. In the village you can rent mountain winter equipment necessary for hiking.
One of the attractions of Lom not related to nature and active tourism is the pillar church belonging to the group of famous Norwegian stave church. A lot of wooden houses, mainly from the 19th and early 20th centuries, have survived in the village.
The Sognefjellet Summer Ski Resort is open all year round in the Lom area. Thanks to its location, low temperatures and snow cover that lasts even in summer, you can ski here even in the middle of summer. A popular destination for families is the Nissegården Center, which combines good accommodation and leisure activities, such as climbing walls, obstacle courses, playgrounds and field games.
