Abismo del diablo

The Devil's Abyss is a geological monument of nature around which there are many legends. Scientists disagree about the formation of this interesting pit: one hypothesis is that the pit is a consequence of a meteorite impact. The abyss is on the list of the 100 most protected natural monuments in Europe. You can observe this interesting place from the observation deck - one of the highest in southern Lithuania.
