Parque Nacional Pollino

The National Park is a large, protected mountain area in the far south of Italy. It is the largest national park in the country, covering almost 2,000 km2. Much of the park consists of forested slopes with bare, grassy peaks. The highest points are Serra Dolcedorme (2,267 m) and Monte Pollino (2,248 m).
