Claustros franciscanos

The monumental complex of Franciscan monasteries dates back to the 15th century. After restoration at the beginning of the 21st century, its décor commemorates Dante Alighieri's stay in the city. The first monastery is named after the poet. There you can admire a spacious loggia surrounded by marble columns and numerous sculptures. The second one attracts attention with an open gallery and numerous arcades.
