Pragser Wildsee

Lake in the Dolomites, considered one of the most beautiful in northern Italy thanks to its crystal clear emerald waters. The lake lies at an altitude of 1490 m above sea level and is surrounded by mountain ranges exceeding 2000 m above sea level

At the end of the war, hostages, selected from among the prisoners of the German camp in Dachau, were placed in the hotel on the shore, to serve as a bargaining chip in negotiations with the Allies. There is also a small stone church and a boat dock that allows you to swim on the lake.
