Área Arqueológica Nora

Archaeological site in the south of Sardinia, where there was a Phoenician city, then Greek and Roman. They are some of the best-preserved ancient ruins on the island and are among its main tourist attractions.

As a result of excavations conducted from the second half of the 19th century, it was possible to discover, among others, the remains of an amphitheater, a forum, several temples as well as habdl and craft buildings.

The site is located on the seashore and some parts of it, such as the road to the former port, are already in the water. You can admire them while diving.
