Iglesia de san pietro

The baroque church, which owes its appearance to the reconstruction after the great earthquake of the mid-seventeenth century. Previously it had the features of the Gothic style, and was built in the fourteenth century. It is one of the most beautiful baroque churches in Sicia and along with other monuments from this period in Modica is inscribed on UNESCO list.
