Museo Arqueológico Nacional

The National Archaeological Museum has been housed in a building on Via Risorgimento since 1969. It is one of the richest galleries in the region, mainly exhibiting the remains of ancient excavations and mythological finds. The museum's collection also includes the popular Hera's Treasure, a collection of valuable votive items made of gold, bronze and marble.
