Museo Mediterráneo de entreguerras

The museum preserves items and documents related to the traditional basketry of this region. The art of weaving was known already in the Nuragic period. The plant fiber used most often was the dwarf palm, which grew abundantly in the Castellana area. It is now very rare and protected.
