Fontana del Tritone

The fountain is decorated with a bronze sculptural group by Michele nisseno Tripisciano in 1890. Inspired by mythology, the figures represent Triton and a sea horse and are a symbol of the city. The fountain itself was made by architect Gaetano Avern and inaugurated on December 15, 1956.
