Basílica principal de Mauriziana desde Santa Croce

The monumental church used to be a synagogue serving the local Jewish community. After the expulsion of the Jews in 1492, the temple was rebuilt and adapted to the Catholic rite. Next to the basilica is the vast complex of the former Jesuit college, which now houses the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Cagliari.
