A museum that collects works of art and various items on Benevento from all historical periods. It is divided into 4 sections: archeology, medieval, art and history. The first three are in the cloisters of the Church of Santa Sofia, the last in the Rocca dei Rettori fortress. There is also a specialized library and laboratory.
