Catedral de Santa Maria Assunta

The cathedral was elevated by Pius XII to the rank of Minor Basilica. It was built on former Byzantine tombs (6th-7th century). The temple is a real mixture of styles, with a predominance of Italian Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassicism. In the cathedral's treasury, there are liturgical vestments, vessels and jewelry.
