Dublinia is a museum dedicated to Dublin's medieval history and the Vikings. You can see reconstructions of buildings from the Viking and medieval times as well as historical reconstructions in which actors in full costumes take part. In addition, the History Hunters exhibit displays authentic artifacts, including the remains of a Viking warrior and a medieval woman, both found in Dublin. You can also listen to the languages of old Dublin and view the city's earliest maps.
Dublinia is located in the part of Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin, known as the Synod Hall. As part of the tour, you can also climb the 17th-century lookout tower. Previously, it belonged to the Church of St Michael's Tower the Archangel, which once stood in the place occupied by Dublinia. The tower has been restored and now houses an exhibition about the building itself and the surrounding parish. There is a viewpoint at the top.
