Acantilados de Bromore
Nombre local: Bromore Cliffs
The Bromore Cliffs are located near the village of Ballybunion in County Kerry. It is a steep Atlantic coast, about 60 meters high. A well-secured and marked hiking trail runs through the cliffs.
County Kerry's coastline is one of the most beautiful in Ireland. It is located on the Wild Atlantic Way leading from County Donegal to County Cork. On this route, you can admire numerous wonders created by nature. One of them is the Bromore Cliffs. The vertical rock walls fall directly into the sea waves. A short distance from the shore, single, pointed rocks protrude from the sea, a sign that the land used to be much further out to sea. The cliffs were created as a result of the destruction of the shore by the raging storms in the Atlantic.
The top of the cliffs is covered with meadows. A 2-kilometer hiking trail leads here. The route is easy and, thanks to the barriers, very safe.
