Man-made caves located in the rock face boundary of Matala Bay. The caves were most likely built in Roman or early Christian times and could have served as catacombs. In the years 1965-1980 they were inhabited by hippies. They are currently protected but are free to enter. However, be careful due to the height and steep rocks.
