Castillo de Kassiopi

The oldest castle in Corfu. It was built during the Byzantine reign, but its origins date back to the 1st century AD. It was made up of quadrilateral walls with 19 defensive towers. A large part of them has survived to this day. You can also admire massive gates secured with a brick foregate. From the castle there is a nice view of the surrounding area.
