Garganta de Kourtaliotiko

The gorge is one of the most spectacular in Crete. It is almost 3 kilometers long, and its walls are 300 meters high in some places. It is built of limestone with several dozen small caves and grottos. A hiking trail leads through the gorge. Halfway through its length you can see the chapel.
