Hope Valley is a rural area around Hope Village in the Peak District. It is one of the most visited parts of Derby County due to its views and numerous active tourism opportunities.
Above the Valley rise the peaks of the Penins such as Dark Peak, Mam Tor and White Peak. Rural, idyllic landscapes, peaks covered with meadows and moors, and small groves are the most typical views in the entire area.
Small towns with stone houses and churches, pubs with a long history and compact buildings are set into beautiful landscapes. They perfectly complement the local views, and for tourists they are a place where they can find accommodation and dining facilities.
The main attraction of Hope Valley is the opportunity to go on long hikes in the surrounding hills and the bottom of the valley. There are many local and long-distance trails here, and the area is also very suitable for cycling.
