Marazion is a small town on the coast of Kronalia. It has sandy, though quite narrow beaches and a lot of intimate guesthouses. Apart from the possibility of sunbathing and practicing water sports, tourists are also attracted by the tidal island of Saint Michael Mount.

Traces of settlement in this area date back to Roman times, but the development of the town of local commercial importance took place only after the Norman invasion. The settlement was not of great economic importance and its inhabitants were mainly engaged in fishing and agriculture. In the 19th century, the first tourists started reaching these areas, but it never developed into a larger resort.

The tidal island of Saint Michael Mount has been attracting newcomers to Marazion for centuries. According to legend, the chapel on top of it was erected after the apparition of Saint Michael. In the Middle Ages, it grew to become St. Michael's Castle, which looks great on a rocky hill. The castle, the surrounding gardens and the entire island are today the biggest attraction of Marazion. At low tide, you can get there via a tidal dike along which a road has been led.

The area around Marazion is very picturesque. To the north of the city are the Marazion Moor, while the adjacent river valley includes the Marazion Marsh Nature Reserve, where you can watch wild birds.
