Castillo de Monfragüe

The castle was built at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. The fortress is located in the heart of the Monfragüe National Park. In the area of the castle you can admire the remains of the wall, a barbican and an Arab cistern. A characteristic feature of the building are two carefully restored towers from the 15th century.
