Islote de Hilario

The islet, located in the volcanic Timanfaya National Park, is the core of a geothermal anomaly, and you can see geysers here. The area takes its name from Timanfaya Lanzaroteño Hilario, a legendary hero who lived here as a hermit only in the company of a camel after the war in the Philippines.
