Torre de Tombolo Trafalgar

The picturesque island with dunes, sandy beaches and unusual geological forms and a historic lighthouse has been declared a natural monument. It is connected to the mainland by a headland, which was created as a result of the accumulation of sand deposited by sea tides. Fragments of a Roman temple and a fish processing factory were discovered near the lighthouse.
