Monumento a Emilia Pardo Bazán

The monument to Emilia Pardo Bazán is located in the Gardens of Méndez Núñez. The Spanish novelist, literary critic and journalist lived in the early 20th century. She introduced not only naturalism into Spanish literature, but also feminist ideas that influenced the awareness of women's rights and their emancipation.
