Námestie MS 1970

The biggest event that took place on the ski jump complex of Strbske Pleso was the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1970. The winner, Garij Napałkow, achieved 109.5 m, which is 29 m shorter than the current hill record set by Sarhiej Babrou in 1999. The K-120 hill is closed due to poor technical condition.
