Ettaler Weidmoos

Wet meadows and peat bogs are part of the Naturpark Ammergauer Alpen inhabited by particularly numerous, in many cases rare species of butterflies and amphibians. It is also a place of a very diverse swamp flora and a nesting place for many birds, including endangered species, including the Eurasian curlew.
