Nombre local: Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum Düsseldorf
The modern institute is a combination of a zoo, an aquarium and a natural history museum. There are 140 water reservoirs and terrariums in 25 themed rooms. There you can see animals inhabiting freshwater rivers and lakes, rainforests and desert areas. They include fish, amphibians, reptiles and insects.
While visiting the aquazoo with a guide, you can not only observe the animals living in it, but also touch them or take them in your arms. It is a great attraction especially for children.
The museum's collection includes exhibitions on the evolution and conservation of biodiversity. It is worth paying attention to the exhibitions presenting models and skeletons as well as interactive panels presenting a variety of natural habitats. In total, the collected collections number over 1,400 exhibits.
